Choose a toggle (manual) press when you want a simpler service profile and lower daily throughput. Choose a hydraulic H-type when you need stated tonnage and more pieces per cycle. Compare published limits on each model page before you enquire — the right answer is the one that fits your floor, not the louder brochure.
A toggle press multiplies mechanical force through a linkage. A hydraulic press applies force through a power pack and cylinder, with pressing force stated in tonnes. Kavan publishes both series with limitations on each product page.
When your target pieces per cycle and stated tonnage matter more than keeping the power pack out of the service plan. See KE-H2 for a 5-tonne H-type example with four diyas or kullads per cycle.
When throughput targets are modest and you want a frame that is simpler to keep running. Start from the toggle series and read the limitation block before you lock a quotation.
